The Date & Nut Company is a Dubai based retailer of healthy and tasty premium dates dried fruits and quality nuts. The Date and Nut Company aspires to promote the concept that snacking can be healthy and to breach the gap in the market of snack foods. The Date and Nut Company offers natural healthy snacks to customers as an alternative to confectionary, bakery and ice cream etc. The date collection also includes special chocolate covered dates filled with nuts and dates filled with dried fruits. Our products are unadulterated by artificial additives, colorings and preservatives that not only taste good but have high nutritive value. The stands or kiosks are designed elegantly for self -serve, pick& mix products that not only look attractive but also are also tasty and healthy.

The Date & Nut Company Concept was created and developed by Lisa Rosen in 2006, who is also the Franchise Development Manager. Since then, The Date & nut Company has attracted a broad range of customers at all times through the year. With people becoming more health conscious, dates, nuts and fruit consumption is ever increasing in popularity. Furthermore, the range of products offered allows flexibility for franchisees to develop a range that appeals to their specific customer needs in the territories that they operate.

However, we are still dedicated and exploring different ways to effectively promote the brand and further improve our Brand Equity.  In addition to this, the Date & Nut Company Franchisees receive professional marketing support, including regular visits from the Franchise Development Manager to assist in growth initiatives. The Franchisees will be provided with in-store signage and labels to improve marketing efforts with proven promotional ideas, seasonal calendars and ready artwork.

Packaging & Presentation

The display units were designed and developed by us. The products are displayed visibly and are easily accessible from the three sides for self -serve.

Packaging materials and items, such as bags, gift boxes etc. are designed with special artwork with corporate colors that complement our brand identity. They are to be purchased from Master Franchisor in Dubai, UAE.

Ordering of Products

To keep our reputation and consistency in quality all the products, well as other consumable items such as bags, boxes, packing materials etc., is to be purchased from the Head Office in Dubai, UAE. However, the Franchisees can according to their preference, choose (from our product range) their product mix according to the tastes and preferences of their customers in their territories. We continuously provide additional support and update our Franchisees in ordering new product lines and special purchases.

Pricing Policy & Margins

The Date & Nut Company will advise its Franchisees about retail sales price and margins according to its licensed territories taking into consideration local conditions, taxes, competitors and any other fees. Since the pick & mix products sell at the same price, the cost varies considerably. Therefore, it is up to the Franchisees to order and maintain a product range at an acceptable margin without compromising quality.

It is also possible for the Franchisees to retail gift items at a similar margin to the products, however these gift items should not compete with date & nut products.
